Celebrated British actor welcomes creative sector growth

The creative arts are currently booming around the world, and it’s a development welcomed by the industry, including acclaimed British actor Cengiz Dervis. The action star, who already has an award under his belt, applauded the efforts of the arts sector and continues to argue that there are many reasons to support the arts throughout 2017 and beyond.

The combined TV, film, and music industry grew over 10% in the UK in the second half of 2016 alone, figures show. Some of the biggest blockbusters of 2016 were shot in the UK and the independent film scene is continuing to thrive and act as a platform for upcoming talent.
