Houston’s Newest Culinary Sensation Calls on Clients to Take ‘Time to Taste’

How long does it take to create a masterpiece? Sometimes it’s a very long process: it’s said that it took Leonardo Da Vinci about 16 years to paint the Mona Lisa. Luckily, not all masterpieces take quite that long to make, but it’s undeniable that art cannot be rushed.

Since Mexican-Asian fusion restaurant Orange Taco opened its doors in Houston, food connoisseurs across the city and beyond can enjoy works of art at any time: all they have to do is sit back, relax, and let the culinary artists work their magic.

Inspired by their signature creation, the Orange Taco, founders Houston and Macleod Adegoke have embarked on a mission to deliver a gastronomic symphony that tantalizes even the most discerning of palates. Each artisan taco is the result of their dedication to high-quality ingredients, meticulously sourced and slowly, tantalizingly cooked to perfection.

Orange Taco is no fast food taco joint – it’s a taste and flavor sensation for taco connoisseurs in search of something truly gourmet. Signature dishes such as the Orange Taco require a meticulous preparation process: brisket takes 40 minutes to prep and 12 hours to cook, while the unique Orange BBQ involves a 15-minute mise-en-place and a 40-minute cooking time. Even the zest that enhances many dishes can take up to three hours to prepare, depending on the creation.

Co-founder Macleod Adegoke says, “We believe that exceptional food cannot be rushed. Our menu items are crafted with care, from slow-cooked beef barbacoa that takes seven hours to our handpicked cilantro. We work hard to create dishes that are worth the wait, and we want our customers to savor every bite.”

Unlike fast-food, which one may expect from a restaurant with ‘taco’ in its name, Orange Taco is a bright example of culinary excellence striving to give all foodies a dining experience that is both memorable and unparalleled.

Houston Adegoke adds, “Orange Taco is not about speed; it’s about quality and flavor. We want our guests to enjoy a meal that is thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. The time and effort invested in each dish ensures an unforgettable taste experience – so take your time to taste the result!”

Of course, some dishes are quicker to prepare than others, and no less delicious. For instance, the Buffalo Ranch includes chicken fried to order with a five-minute wait, followed by a three-minute assembly process. The Orange Cauliflower taco, another favorite, requires just four minutes to fry and one minute to assemble. There are no batches or ready-made items to throw in a tortilla: each ingredient is cooked to order, preserving all its integrity and flavor.

Every food item at Orange Taco is a work of art. Come experience this unique fusion of Mexican and Asian cuisines – where patience is rewarded with every delicious bite!
