Hubiz Launches World’s First Audio Gaming Console on Kickstarter
Combining classic board and dice games with modern design and technology, the world’s first ever audio gaming console has just launched on Kickstarter.
Consisting of a ‘hub’ – which carries an on-board speaker – and multiple, connected dice that function as controllers, Hubiz offers a gaming experience unlike any other. The console offers a range of gaming experiences, with seven different categories of games on offer, including dice games, quizzes, music guessing games and educational applications. Via the tied-in Hubiz app, users can access a wide range of games and even create their own quizzes. Up to sixteen dice can be connected to a hub and each has a smart, inbuilt sensor. This means each die knows which number it has landed on, bringing dice games into the 21st century.
The console is easy to use for people of all ages, with setup only taking a couple of minutes. In the case of a quiz, for example, the user simply connects the hub to the Hubiz app, and the console will then begin giving instructions. All the players need to do is answer questions by pressing the side of the die they think is the right answer.
