Insight Analysis Merges with Skylab to Provide a First of its Kind Offering to Sporting Organisations Across the Globe.

Industry-leading Performance Analysis provider, Insight Analysis, merges with Manchester based Digital Agency, Skylab, to create a unique service offering for the elite Sports Performance Analysis industry.

The merger follows a deep exploration of the Performance Analysis services market, the challenges currently being faced by elite sporting organisations, and an understanding of the solutions that will underpin the future of the industry.

Insight Analysis will now operate as Skylab: Elite Performance Analysis, a division of Skylab led by Jonathan Hobbs (General Manager, Insight Analysis); Skylab: Elite Performance Analysis will continue to specialise in Performance Analysis services, including data capture, data analysis, data science, data visualisation and, crucially, bespoke software development.

Insight Analysis today announced it has merged with Manchester & London based digital strategy and software development house – Skylab. Skylab offers industry-leading digital strategy and web development services for clients such as England Athletics, Red Bull Advanced Technology and Institute of Swimming. The merger allows Insight Analysis to accelerate their plans to offer a full suite of performance analysis services as well as bespoke software solutions to elite sporting clients.

Insight Analysis, who have provided industry leading performance analysis services to some of the biggest names in sport, such as Team Ineos, The FA, the LTA, British Athletics and more, will bring years of experience and knowledge to Skylab and, with the addition of Skylab’s creative and UX services, provide sporting organisations tools and services to make better decisions in sport.

Skylab’s Chloe Waddington will lead the combined company, with Jon Hobbs leading the Elite Performance Analysis department.
