Revolutionary new logistics start-up provides golden investment opportunity at Web Summit 2017

Last Mile Team, the never-before-seen digital platform that has been touted to revolutionize the logistics industry, will be attending Web Summit 2017 after being handpicked to participate by the Spanish Government entity ICEX.

The start-up caught the attention of ICEX ICT leaders after developing an all-in-one platform which optimizes transport and engages customers, from the first minute of the journey, offering fulfilment options and real-time parcel tracking.

It also tells those waiting for a delivery an up-to-the-minute, totally precise delivery time. Customers using Last Mile Team will have the ability to reschedule their parcel’s arrival on demand via their phone or tablet, with the new time then being relayed to the delivery driver in real time.

Last Mile Team also aids delivery companies and product sellers by identifying the fastest route possible to their destination, thereby reducing greenhouse gas emissions and increasing their productivity and the likelihood of customers shopping with them again thanks to a fast and informed delivery.

Angel Batalla, Last Mile Team CEO, said: “We’re honoured and thrilled to be exhibiting Last Mile Team at Web Summit 2017; it’s the largest tech conference in the world and is renowned for being the go-to place for the next big developments in the tech industry.”

“Last Mile Team lets customers determine when and how they want to receive their purchases, know exactly where their package is, who’s delivering it and when it’s going to be with them, all in real-time.

“Our software also picks the fastest route possible for delivery drivers and companies, which increases customer satisfaction by guaranteeing a swift delivery and saves the planet’s environment by choosing the most eco-friendly route possible.”

The new company has been selected by ICEX to partake in Web Summit 2017, which is the biggest meeting of tech companies and start-ups in the world. The Summit will also host a number of huge global players such as Amazon, Reddit and Tinder.

Last Mile Team’s potential is so great that it’s been sponsored by Microsoft’s BizSpark programme, which helps promising start-ups across the globe move forward by providing them with free access to Microsoft Azure cloud services, software and expert support.

Angel added: “Last Mile Team enable companies in e-Commerce, retail, repairs and maintenance, and many more sectors, to optimize their transport and customer engagement. It’s been rigorously field-tested to achieve 25% delivery cost reduction, over 99% first delivery attempt success rate and up to 95% reduction in GHG emissions related to urban goods distribution. Now we’re looking for capital investors to take us to the next level.”

Last Mile Team provides a fantastic opportunity for investment at Web Summit 2017, and is one of the first tech start-ups to break new ground in the transport industry.

The versatility of the service means it can be used by virtually any sector, and therefore has the potential to become a billion-dollar business. It’s for this reason that Last Mile Team has been recognized by Microsoft and the Spanish Government entity ICEX.
