The Stables Bar & Grill in Alsager Awarded AA Rosette For Culinary Excellence

Alsager’s family-run restaurant, the Stables Bar & Grill has been awarded a coveted AA Rosette for Culinary Excellence. The restaurant, which is located within the Manor House Hotel just a few miles from Stoke-on-Trent, is a countryside gem, run by passionate local foodies who champion fresh, seasonal produce.

The AA Rosette For Culinary Excellence is awarded to the best dining establishments across England, with just 10% of the nation’s restaurants meeting the high standards demanded by AA inspectors.

The Bar & Grill’s delicious spring fresh menu demonstrates exactly how the AA inspectors were wowed and includes an abundance of fresh fish, meat and vegetables accompanied by delicious puds and creative nibbles. Mouth-watering dishes such as free range rolled pork belly and mustard mash, bavette steak with herby chimichurri sauce and whole fish of the day are served in a warm modern setting.

With a backdrop of oak beams and stone fireplaces, diners can expect wholesome pub favourites, new twists on old classics and tempting lighter bites, with ample real ales and an eclectic wine list. All meats are sourced from a family butcher located in the Staffordshire countryside and reared on local farms while fruit and vegetables are locally grown where possible.

In addition to its superb main menu, the Stables Bar & Grill serves Saturday night cocktails, a lazy weekend brunch, traditional afternoon teas and a sumptuous Sunday roast.
