Taylor Swift Superfans Join Together to Help Other Fans Attend her Reputation Concert and Win CDs and Merchandise

A group of 5 Swifties, comprising of committed Taylor Swift fans from the Middle East, has banded together to help others see their idol in her latest concert and provide free merch and CDs to fans.

‘Travelling Swifties’ – an Instagram-based group made up of five of Taylor Swift’s most die-hard fans – have been using their community to provide concert tickets, Swift merchandise and CDs of the American pop star’s latest releases to fans who otherwise might never be able to see their idol. The group, who regularly travel from the Middle East to see Swift, have journeyed as far afield as London and Los Angeles to see her during her Red and 1989 concerts going to two nights in a row each show. Their desire to help other fans see and hear the music of their idol has resulted in CD and ticket giveaways

The group has been flying to see Swift in London since 2014 and will be in England’s capital on the 22 and 23 June for the performer’s ‘Reputation’ stadium tour. Previously, they have travelled to London in 2014 for Swift’s ‘Red’ Tour and Los Angeles in 2015 for three dates of the ‘1989’ tour. Travelling long distances, the group has fierce dedication to following Swift and have segued this into providing the means for others to do the same.

It all started in the singer’s own app, where the group ran their first ever giveaway of Swift’s latest album ‘Reputation’. The Travelling Swifties group gave three lucky winners copies of the album. For fans who might not otherwise be able to see Swift or hear her music, the giveaways are a much welcomed and well-received fan community service. They recently helped one fan from Amsterdam to meet her idol by giving her two tickets to see Swift in concert.

The Travelling Swifties group originally began out of a desire for fans to share videos and stories of their experiences seeing Swift live. Soon, however, the group grew and became increasingly involved in community-led altruistic efforts. Banding together, the group has held numerous contests and giveaways, always with a focus on helping the most deserving fans enjoy the music they love.
