Programmatic Ad Copy

LISTERINE® mouthwash is an award-winning mouthwash which has been shown to reduce plaque by 56% more than brushing alone. The product range comprises of 15 different mouthwash products, which help to maintain healthy teeth and gums, give users whiter teeth, fresh breath and relief from sensitivity.

The brief

To create programmatic ad copy to be used as part of the LISTERINE® Sloosh campaign for the UK market. The copy must reflect the LISTERINE® bold tone of voice, connect with users and encourages habit adoption through an understanding of the health benefits of mouthwash.

To further create new programmatic ad copy for a new LISTERINE® Advanced White programmatic campaign to run in Sweden and Finland.

The solution

Dakota Digital produced on brand and on message ad copy for the entire Sloosh programmatic ad campaign. We worked with the LISTERINE® team to generate a series of advert texts.

The outcome

  • New ad copy created for the 2017 Listerine Sloosh programmatic campaign
  • Copywriting of ad content reflected the disruptive and witty tone synonymous with the brand, reflecting its daring, sometimes rebellious persona
  • Content tone is honest, upbeat and relatable, conveying a sense of humour
  • Following the successful UK campaign, we were also commissioned to produce new programmatic ad copy for the Listerine Advanced White programmatic campaign for Sweden and Finland, bringing the product to life in a fun and witty way for the Nordic audience
