A Stylish Enclave Close to the City: DoubleTree By Hilton London Elstree Opens Its Doors

The former Holiday Inn Elstree has thrown open its doors as the new DoubleTree By Hilton London Elstree following an extensive £4.5 million renovation project.

All public areas have been fully refurbished to offer guests a modern, vibrant experience. Elegant open-plan communal spaces now feature modern prints, statement lighting and contemporary furniture, while the new look Chaplin’s Bar and Restaurant pays homage to the area’s filmmaking history.

The multi-million pound renovation works also saw each of the hotel’s 135 guest bedrooms entirely redesigned. Luxurious and sophisticated, they now boast modern interiors with spacious bathrooms, high definition TVs, 250 thread count linens and indulgent Crabtree and Evelyn bath amenities.

The hotel’s 11 meeting rooms and function space have been upgraded to welcome back business travellers and those celebrating a special occasion with the latest in conferencing technology and flexible room layouts to nurture productivity and creativity. Additional investment has been made in the hotel gym, which is being completely refreshed and is scheduled to open later this year.

In addition to strict adherence to government guidelines, the DoubleTree by Hilton London Elstree now operates Hilton CleanStay, an industry-defining standard of cleanliness and disinfection carried out in Hilton properties worldwide.

DoubleTree by Hilton London Elstree General Manager, James Ryan said: “We are delighted to welcome guests as a DoubleTree by Hilton property. Every detail has been thoughtfully designed to offer an exceptional experience, from the warm and welcoming Chaplin’s Bar and Restaurant to our comfortable, elegant guest bedrooms and well-equipped fitness room. And of course, guests can now look forward to the signature DoubleTree by Hilton warm chocolate chip cookie at check-in to get their stay off to the best possible start.”

Located within easy reach of the A1 and close to the famed Elstree Studios, guests will find the popular Warner Bros. Studio Tour with Harry Potter attractions less than 30 minutes away. Trains to St. Pancras International Station run from the nearby Elstree & Borehamwood station, which is a short15-minute drive.
