Adventure Travel Company Helping Children’s Dreams Come True at Charity Gala

Verve Rally, a one-of-a-kind luxury travel company offering supercar adventures across Europe, is bringing children’s dreams one step closer to reality with the upcoming 150-person 2019 Charity Gala Ball. Organised by Verve Rally’s Darshana Ubl, the event will raise money for a cause close to Ubl’s heart; Make-A-Wish Foundation UK, which offers experiences for young people with life-threatening conditions

This marks the third year that the Verve Rally team, Darshana Ubl, have hosted a charity event in aid of Make-A-Wish Foundation UK. This year, Verve Rally participants, UK business leaders, influencers, and political heads will be joined by ‘Miss Ballooniverse’, featured last month on The Apprentice, and can enjoy live entertainment on the night from high-baritone James Schouten. Also scheduled is a three-course meal and of course some exceptional live and silent auction items.

For those who have attended a previous Verve Rally event, beloved auctioneer Jamie Breese, known for his role on BBC2’s The Antiques Show, will be making a welcome return at the 2019 edition of the Gala Ball. He’ll be introducing some incredible items and experiences on the night, including a one week stay at a luxurious 6-bedroom contemporary chalet in the Swiss Alps, a two night stay at a luxurious 5-star Thermal Spa hotel in central Spain with breakfast for two, a voucher for a Zoom Philips Whitening treatment at Stonehealth Clinic, and a limited edition framed pop art silk screen print of Steve McQueen, with a starting bid of just £550.

Make-A-Wish Foundation UK grants magical wishes to bring joy and happiness into the lives of young people who have been diagnosed with life-threatening and terminal conditions. The organisation, part of Make-A-Wish Foundation International goes above and beyond to transform children’s dreams into a reality when they need it most. The foundation believes that a child’s life should be filled with wonder, joy, and hope; a sentiment that is shared by Darshana Ubl and the Verve Rally team.

Verve Rally was founded by entrepreneurs Darshana Ubl and Marcus Ubl. Together, they have created a one-of-a-kind travel company which brings luxury travel enthusiasts and unique driving adventures together for a completely different type of holiday. The pair hit the headlines earlier this year for hosting the first carbon-neutral rally in Europe, with 20 supercars travelling all the way from London to Snowdonia.
