Award-Winning Illustrator Announces Launch of New Homewares Collection

Some of the UK’s most recognisable designs can now be enjoyed on tea towels, cushions and even drinks coasters thanks to award-winning illustrator, Si Scott. Scott, who is best known for iconic black and white prints, will bring his expert typography and intricate graphic design to homes up and down the country with the launch of his debut homewares collection.

The stylish new range includes a selection of fine bone china mugs, drinks coasters, tea towels and chair cushions, each adorned with the instantly-recognisable artwork of Si Scott. Having made no secret of his intense passion for nature and the environment, many of the products feature the Mother Nature-inspired designs that Scott has become known for.

“It’s definitely been a bit of a whirlwind year with the expansion into retail, but it’s also been a lot of fun!” says Si Scott’s Business Partner, Cat Davey.  “We really wanted to find a way to make art functional and more accessible to homeowners all across the country, and we’ve been able to achieve this by blending together Si’s unique designs with some of the most commonly used items for the home.”

“The new designs are fantastic, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for the Si Scott Store,” continues Davey. “Keep your eyes peeled, because there’s lots more to come!”

Si Scott’s hand drawn designs first drew attention for the artist’s use of traditional approaches and techniques at a time when many illustrators were going digital. Citing his pens and pencils as his favourite type of software, Scott gained fame for his music and nature prints. The new homewares range marks the first time his designs will be featured on items such as mugs, towels and cushions.

The Si Scott Store supports the mastery and craftsmanship of the British manufacturing industry. All products in the new Si Scott homewares line are made in Britain, with products sourced exclusively from UK-based British manufacturers. The fine bone china mugs offered by the store have been sourced from a local ceramics firm in Stoke-on-Trent, while textiles have been sourced from a Cheshire-based supplier.

The new Si Scott homewares range is available now, direct from the Si Scott Store.
