Brand new venture from the famous alcoholic confectionery brand Holly’s Lollies puts an end to dull stocking fillers and greetings cards

Holly’s Lollies, the famous alcoholic confectionery brand responsible for tasty lollipops, rock sweets and humbugs, has debuted a delicious new range of boozy edible greeting cards perfect for the Christmas season.

The perfect antidote to boring cards, Suck it and Say is a brand new range of giant lollipops adorned with cheeky puns infused with some of the nation’s favourite tipples. The edible greetings come in a choice of eight alcoholic flavours including mulled wine, cherry amaretto and gin and elderflower plus three non-alcoholic versions in strawberries and cream, raspberry vanilla and salted caramel.

Each giant lollipop is decked with a festive-inspired pun such as ‘Yay, it’s not socks!’, ‘all I want for Christmas is booze’ and ‘have a tree-mendous Christmas’. The beautiful lollipop packaging also comes complete with a gift tag to write your own message, so the days of the standard greeting card and boring stocking filler are numbered thanks to this quirky and delectable range.

Since their inception three years ago, Holly’s Lollies have enjoyed unparalleled success with their boozy sweet treats and have supplied their giant lollipops to major stores across the world, including Harvey Nichols and Brown Thomas.

As well as 11 delicious flavours, the Suck it and Say range is available in a choice of 14 festive designs –making them a much tastier alternative to a standard greeting card that will end up in the recycling bin after just a few days.

“Of course we are biased, but we think our lollipops are much better than traditional cards. Most traditional greetings cards get thrown away but our lollipops have space for a message, are totally delicious and ship for the same price as a large letter, “says Holly Brook, Director of Holly’s Lollies.

“The lollipops themselves are made in the UK using traditional methods, vegan, gluten free and a huge 100mm wide. And our boozy flavours are made with REAL alcohol. It’s what we are famous for. Gift and card or rolled into one! What more could you want?”

Holly’s Lollies are crowdfunding on Kickstarter to bring the Suck It and Say collection into production before Christmas. Backers will receive a lollipop of their choice delivered anywhere in the world from just £5. The first batch of alcho-infused giant lollipop greeting cards will be ready to ship from November 2018.
