Your Community Space Wants to Find the Best Local Halls in the UK for Weddings

Your Community Space – which exclusively focuses on promoting community buildings across the UK – is on a mission to find the best local halls for wedding events.

The website, which launches this autumn, is the only site in the UK that puts a targeted, exclusive emphasis on community buildings. And they are seeking out the best local, community venues that also provide unique settings for wedding receptions and events. The site has created a directory of the best local halls across the UK, and they want to help more local spaces attract wedding events.

The competition will see the winning entry win a special feature in the YCS Brides Guide, free premium membership for the site worth £299, as well as PR coverage and £250 cash. The winner of the Best Hall in the UK for Weddings will be announced to coincide with the full website launch. And Your Community Space is planning another competition for brides to be. The lucky winner will bag their wedding dress, money towards their big day and more.

Joining Your Community Space is entirely free, and the site is keen to point out that local halls can benefit significantly from increased booking and exposure. With 80,000 people in the UK searching monthly for local community buildings, Your Community Space wants volunteers and managers of local halls to know that the demand is out there. And getting on the Your Community Space platform could mean a significant uptick in bookings and usage.

Vici Ladeji, founder of Your Community Space, said, “We’re really excited to be launching the Your Community Space platform, and we wanted to do something to help get more local spaces and halls exposure. We feel like this competition – and the one to follow – are great ways to show that the UK’s thirty thousand community buildings are a wonderful place for wedding events.

“And, more than that, we want to help the halls on our site reach new people and make full use of the space they have. Your Community Space is all about providing a free, easy-to-use focal point for the UK’s local halls because we feel that these spaces deserve wider exposure and use. Our aim is to make it easy for halls and those looking for local spaces to come together- for the benefit of everyone. I’ve spent over twenty-five years as an event manager

and volunteer, so I know how important it is for local halls not just to survive, but also to thrive.”
