Cordina Hair Launches Heatless Curler

Girls tired of fighting the frizz and damaging their locks with traditional tools can now rock the most bountiful of beachy waves and tumbling curls while keeping their cool, as Cordina Hair™ launches its brand new, no-heat overnight hair curler. The Flower Curl®, named for its petal-shaped design, gives the same style as heated curlers with none of the damage to hair.

The Flower Curl‘s comfortable design features an innovative frame which conforms to the shape of the head, so it stays put all night long with no discomfort. The no-heat styling tool can be customised at home to create beach waves, loose or voluminous looking curls.

Recent scientific research has found that keratin filaments present in the keratin protein in hair are particularly vulnerable to heat stress, which means they can easily break down and leave hair more vulnerable to dryness and split ends after exposure to heated styling tools such as tongs and wands.

Yanika was inspired to create the Flower Curl® following her own poor experiences using regular curlers. “When I was 17, I had curlers left in my hair for 10 hours by a salon. When I took them out, my hair looked no different!”

The Flower Curl® features a central hair scrunchy surrounded by soft rings (4 included as standard with the regular Flower Curl®, with an additional ring included in the option for thicker hair). Hair is placed into a ponytail using the scrunchy before being sectioned and secured around the desired number of rings using pins. Cordina Hair™ recommends using on dry hair with a spritz of water applied directly before curling for best results and longer lasting curls.
