The creators of the Well Being Series launch innovative app to build confidence and support mental health for children and teens

An innovative new app launches today which is purposefully designed to help children aged 5 to 11 and teens of 12 plus to build self-esteem and boost confidence in just a few minutes a day. Developed by the team at wellbeingseries.com, the app functions as a self-esteem building tool to help children feel better about themselves, build their resilience and help them feel strong enough to take on life’s challenges.  Using positive affirmations (auto-suggestion tracks) as well as a lovely relaxation meditation designed especially for children and teenagers, the difference in self-esteem and self-belief can be seen within a short period of time when used regularly.

Available for both iOS and Android devices, the user-friendly app is packed with a wide range of child-friendly tools including 60 affirmation tracks focusing on a wide range of topics that children and teens face on a daily basis. A 5-minute relaxation session is included to reduce anxiety and enable better focus and problem-solving, plus inspirational quotes and virtual sticker awards. The app’s affirmations can be personalised to suit each child, meaning it can accompany the child or teenager throughout some of their most challenging moments, whatever the nature of the problem.

With the mental health of children and teens being an issue that has received much media attention recently, the app sees a positive shift towards recognising and supporting the mental wellbeing of the younger person.

This app appeals to its target audience due to its friendly, bright and easy-to-use interface and the ability for users to reach for their smartphone whenever they need a confidence boost or some positive affirmation.

Creator of the Well-being for Kids and Teens app, Samantha Touchais said, “We wanted to create something that would be appealing whilst helping children and teens feel better about themselves, build their resilience and offer them some useful tools so that they feel confident in taking on life’s challenges.

“This app was tested with a number of parents during the development stage and the feedback was incredible! We are now thrilled that the app is available to kids and teens around the world.

Available world-wide in English, the Well-being for Kids and Teens app can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play.
