DevSecCon Conference Returns to London for Third Year

The world’s only conference dedicated to DevSecOps – the practice of building security into development processes – will return to London for a third time later this month as IT professionals grapple with ever more complex challenges and sophisticated security threats.

DevSecCon will bring DevOps, Development and Security professionals together in an extended two-day conference and training sessions, with three tracks and hands-on workshops led by key industry figures and cutting-edge practitioners.

Spanning every aspect of the development process, delegates can expect to leave armed with a greater understanding of security as code, be inspired by keynotes and workshops from leading figures in DevOps, Security and Development, get a first-hand look at the very latest DevSecOps technologies and innovations and interact and connect with peers, thought leaders and those leading advances in the sector.

Building on 2016’s agenda, which covered the core concepts of DevSecOps in short lightening talks, the 2017 schedule includes extensive, in-depth sessions delivered by industry experts including keynote speaker Daniel Cuthbert, Global Head of Cyber Security Research, Santander. Cuthbert will address the ongoing spectre of hacking in his address, “From whistles to nation state and why Developers are now more important than ever before”.

Dinis Cruz, CISO of the PhotoBox group will give day two’s thought-provoking keynote, “Creating a graph-based security organisation”. Packed with practical examples, the presentation will investigate ways to create a modern and empowering security organisation.

Other speakers include Liz Rice, Technology Evangelist at Aqua Security, Justin Calmus, VP of Hacker Success and Research at HackerOne and Fraser Scott, Senior Cloud Security Operations engineer at Capital One.
