Strictly has become one of the biggest Saturday night TV shows in the country and Donahey’s excitement-filled weekend breaks with the stars of Strictly mean the entertainment, glitz and glamour doesn’t have to stop when the winner is crowned. Fans of the show inspired to put on their dancing shoes and sequins can cha-cha-cha their way through a unique Strictly experience.

Each luxury weekend getaway offers guests the chance to see the Strictly stars perform up close and personal and be taught to dance like a celebrity by the stars. Taking place around the country, Strictly Experience guests will be treated to seven hours of spectacular ballroom and Latin dance lessons, led by the stars of the show. A bigger than ever range of premium entertainment is included with each luxury stay, all topped with performances by the elite Strictly professionals.

Leading the 2018 line-up are newlyweds Aljaz Skorjanec and Janette Manrara, veterans Anton Du Beke and Erin Bogg, from Grimsby Kevin Clifton & wife Karen, plus fan favourites Giovanni Pernice & Oti Mabuse. It’s not just their own dancing guests will be able to delight in either, they’ll be wowed by floor-side seats for three-days of exclusive performances, making for a short break like no another. Q&A sessions are a chance to go behind the scenes of the hit show and, there are plenty of photo opportunities for souvenir snaps.

Paul Donahey, Director of Donahey’s and organiser of the fabulous Strictly events said, “Strictly Come Dancing has been a TV highlight for years and more people than ever before are tuning in, proving that it’s a national treasure. For those that aren’t satisfied just watching the professionals, our weekends offer a unique way to really get that Strictly experience. Dance classes and showcases fill every weekend break we organise, making them the perfect antidote to dull Saturday nights when the current competition waltzes to an end.”

To mark its 50th year in business, Donahey’s 2018 schedule is filled with even more celebrations than usual. Saturday’s Latin Lounge ensures that the dancing goes on to the early hour or for guests wanting to try their hand at ballroom, the Black Tie Ball offers elegance and a live 15-piece band.
