Has UK brand M.MONI created the world’s most sustainable Christmas Jumper?

UK luxury fashion brand M.MONI has created a limited edition sustainably focused Christmas jumper with a 2020 twist.

With only 150 of the jumpers on sale, made from organic cotton and recycled materials, embellished with sustainable sequins and designed and digitally printed just roads apart in Peckham this could be the world’s most sustainable Christmas jumper.

M.MONI believes there is ‘no place like home’ ensuring the majority of their suppliers are UK based limiting their carbon footprint whilst highlighting their priority to support the UK economy, small businesses and jobs during such uncertain times. Digitally printing the artwork on the jumper makes it all the more sustainable by preventing water pollution from dyes, one of the fashion industry’s biggest challenges.

The garment itself is not your average Christmas jumper, a pumpkin disguised as a Christmas pudding Creative Director, Emily Dixon said “This is a light-hearted take on a lesson we have all learnt from 2020. Expect the unexpected”.

PRE-ORDER opens from 25 September – 11 October. As a slow-fashion brand, the jumper is from a limited range with only 150 being made to order taking around 4 weeks to make.
