Itchy Feet Events Launch Kickstarter in Support of Itchy Feet Winter Ball
A collective of DJs and event planners is throwing it back to the glamorous 20s and 30s following some of the most successful club nights in the country as it reveals plan to throw an extravagant vintage-themed winter ball. The Itchy Feet soiree will be complete with old school live music, a beautiful vintage venue, smart black tie dress code and America diner food – all in celebration of live music at Christmastime.
The project began with the formation of a group of real music fans, eager to bring a sense of soul and authenticity back to the party scene. Each person in the Itchy Feet Events collective has carved a path in areas such as DJing and event-planning, organising magical parties across the UK. Their latest and greatest endeavour however is the Itchy Feet Winter Ball.
Jess Cullimore, Itchy Feet General Manager said, “We’ve hosted hundreds of successful events around the country but this year, we want to throw the party to end all parties – purely for the pleasure of celebrating live music, good times and the festive season. We’ve launched a Kickstarter campaign to help fund the event so hundreds of people can put on their glad rags, bring out all the old dance moves, and transport themselves through time for the greatest night of the year.”
Set within a stunning historic venue recalling the era of dance-halls and cabaret, with a fantastic menu of gourmet American-Style diner food, wine flowing freely and incredible live music and records playing all night, this retro vibe will be matched by the classic glamour dress code, helping put guests in the party mood.
Providing the perfect space to mingle, dance and enjoy the unique atmosphere, there’ll be a half bottle of wine per person, and delicious fare like New York Style Cheesecake, Mac and Cheese and Pulled Pork Sliders, before guests are encouraged to hit the dance floor to the sounds of the headline live band playing a mixture of funk, reggae, ska, soul, rock n’ roll and rhythm and blues classics.
The Kickstarter campaign supporting the event has just gone live – with a funding goal set for 23 November and the party scheduled for 15th December. There are fantastic incentives to support, with Early-Bird tickets at discounted prices as well as group tickets offering further discounts for those eager to bring their friends along for an evening of raucous, decadent party magic.
