Kenilworth Freelancer Rises to the Top of Global On Demand Portal

A marketing expert from the Warwickshire town of Kenilworth has become the number one choice on a site that boasts more than 15 million freelancers in just under a year.

Ross Jenkins, who specialises in digital marketing, has quickly ascended to the top position of freelance website Upwork’s rankings for Infusionsoft experts. With his extensive skillset and Google and HubSpot certifications, Ross has established himself as the pre-eminent source for companies seeking to boost their digital marketing efforts.

After being underwhelmed by office politics and underappreciative bosses, Jenkins decided to join the estimated two million freelance workers in the UK and 57.3 million in the US and hire out his Infusionsoft expertise.

Just a few short weeks later, Ross was already building a marketing machine for a Californian company, and he hasn’t looked back since. With a focus on social networking, digital marketing and website administration, Ross hasn’t found himself short of work. Preferring the creative, collaborative process of freelancing to an office-bound role, Ross works with both extremely small firms and some of the biggest companies in the world.

Before embarking on his successful freelance career, Ross had already worked around the world, including in Ireland, Spain and Qatar, but always for a boss. Once free to choose his own path, Ross quickly identified what companies need and put himself out there – and the results have been staggering.

Specialising in working with SMEs, Ross brings a creative, expert skillset to projects and now can’t ever see himself going back to the nine to five grind.

He said, “Since going freelance, I’ve been enjoying my work more than ever. Now I know the projects I take on are the ones I want to do and not something mandated by a boss or executive decision. I feel like freelancing gives me flexibility, and not just regarding work-life balance. I’m free to dive as deep as I need to into a client’s needs and set them up for future success – and that’s what I love doing the most.

“I can be as creative as I want, and clients know they have someone dedicated to them. I’m thrilled and quite amazed to see myself at the top of Upwork’s rankings. It’s something I’m proud of, and it just reinforces the feeling that I’ve made the right choice going freelance.”

Based in Mountain View, California, Upwork is the largest freelancing website in the world. It enables businesses to connect with freelancers around the globe in real time.
