Koua Studio Launches New Podcast “Èvolution” Hosted by CEO Erika Alvarez

KOUA Studio, the sustainability-driven textile brand has announced the upcoming launch of its much-anticipated podcast, Èvolution”, hosted by founder, Erika Alvarez.

Listeners can expect to hear insights from Alvarez as she shares her journey to becoming the entrepreneur she is today, as well as discussions around business, fashion, sustainability, wellness, and gender equality. With a line-up of stellar guests already confirmed, Èvolution will cover a range of important topics including how to give back to the world by consuming and producing fashion better, how to create better personal habits, and how to empower ourselves and others to close the gender gap.

The podcast, which is set to release its first episode on Spotify, has been a labour of love for brand founder, Alvarez, who’s passion for building community goes far beyond her existing entrepreneurial endeavours. Through this podcast, Alvarez hopes to create an extension of the KOUA Studio community and spark conversation on a global level.

Ms Alvarez said, “I’m looking forward to digging deeper into meaningful topics with my guests to share knowledge in fashion, entrepreneurship, wellness and gender equality and to keep learning from people who are experienced in certain areas. I think we are all in this life to learn, evolve and to give back always followed by our mission and purpose in life. I’m excited to delve into issues that really matter in fashion and wellness with upcoming guests.”

The podcast, which will feature both English and Spanish language episodes, already has a roster of prestigious guests lined up to take the microphone. The first episodes will feature:

  • Doctor Dina Khalifa: Experienced academic in the areas of luxury branding and marketing, with more than 10 years of teaching experience in UK and Egypt.
  • Karla Perez Canovas: Anthropologist with a showing in Ethnology and founder of the workshop ‘malacate’; a feminist artisans collective based in Chiapas, Mexico.

Èvolution will be available on Spotify with new episodes dropping monthly.
