Leading bar design and build wizards provide The Alchemist in Media City with ultra-efficient energy saving renovations

Bar and design installation experts, Dawnvale have helped to keep the drinks flowing in Manchester after recently fitting out the popular Alchemist cocktail bar with two new ultra-fast bars and a specially-designed bespoke commercial kitchen.

Working closely with renowned designers Macaulay Sinclair and The Alchemist brand, Dawnvale has created a stunning terrace bar with two work stations and an innovatively-designed main cocktail bar that allows space for four stations. Both of the new drinks counters also feature The Alchemist’s own new cocktail drop-down blender stations and double speed rails helping to increase drinks sales.

Dawnvale also installed the very latest energy-saving Synergy grills to the bespoke kitchen to keep The Alchemist’s energy costs down to a minimum, as well as powerful custom-made extract and ventilation systems.

“The new fit-outs to the Manchester site came with considerable challenges; the angular walls and shape of the building presented a challenge to overcome in terms of fitting their new bars and kitchen. Through our expertise and dedication, however, we completed The Alchemist’s brief to their full specification and created highly efficient, fully functional bar and kitchen workspaces that will benefit their speed of service and reduce energy costs greatly.”

Four of Dawnvale’s six core services were used during the project: design, supply, installation and project management, and all the renovations were delivered within a strict two-month timeframe. Dawnvale and The Alchemist will also be working together on four more projects in the future, with work on venues in Oxford, Nottingham, Bristol and Cardiff planned.
