Leading European Antique Fair in Peterborough Expands Even Further with over 2000 stalls to browse.

The bi-annual Festival of Antiques held in Peterborough is already globally renowned for its vast collection of leading stalls and stunning antiques available but the festival to be held this autumn is set to break its previous records. Over the two-day event in September more first-rate stalls will be setting up to offer their historical artefacts and charming curiosities than ever before, attracting thousands of eager visitors looking to discover hidden gems. The Marquee Village in particular has attracted more bookings than ever and is now taking over a significant area of the Festival.

Now in its 18th year, the Festival of Antiques has built up a stellar reputation for being a premier event for experts and enthusiasts alike. This September, over 2,000 stalls filled with exceptional antique, vintage, and retro treasures will make their way to Peterborough. The evergrowing event promises to bring together leading British and international traders, as well as exciting exhibitors heading to the fair for the first time. The extensive collection of antiques, ranging from reclaimed furniture to beautiful, classical high value jewellery and ornaments, promises to offer something for every taste.

Simon Evans, Director of Peterborough Festival of Antiques, said, “We’re thrilled that the Festival of Antiques is growing and attracting even more interest from antique traders from across the world. It demonstrates that our approach and recent changes to the layout is working well for our exhibitors and adding to the visitor experience. With more exhibitors on board, seasoned collectors and new fans will have an abundance of quality goods to browse and pick up throughout the fair. We’ve carefully picked the traders we work with, ensuring a diverse and inspiring mix of collectables to catch the eye.”

The event’s fame and influence has earned it the reputation as being the ‘most enjoyable antiques fair in the country’. Taking over the East of England Showground in cathedral city of Peterborough, event organisers ‘Festival of Antiques’ have meticulously planned the layout to ensure smooth running, even in poor weather conditions. Split across 5 large indoor spaces and featuring outdoor marquees, as well as outdoor stalls both on grass and also on hardstanding, guests will be free to browse at their leisure come rain or shine.
