London-based office catering marketplace Caterwings to support Veganuary

The UK office catering platform, Caterwings has confirmed that it will support Veganuary in January 2020.

Working closely with select partners, Caterwings is set to provide a variety of vegan options, perfect for workplaces participating in Veganuary or simply keen to begin incorporating more plant-based options into their meals in the New Year. Focussing on the myriad of health, nutrition and environmental benefits associated with the switch to a plant based diet, Caterwings sees this as a move towards improved sustainability and wellbeing in the office catering industry.

To lead by example, the Caterwings team will enjoy weekly vegan lunches throughout January. The team will also be treated to vegan snacks and desserts and everyone will celebrate with a vegan breakfast to kick off the month.

“It’s an opportunity for us to show our existing and future customers the great selection of plant-based food that we’re able to offer, to fulfil on our promise to deliver better food at work, and to lead the industry in moving towards a more sustainable, environmentally conscious model,” stated Caterwings CEO, Adrian Frenzel.

Veganuary launched in 2014 to encourage people across the globe to try vegan dishes throughout January. A record 250,000 people participated in 2019. A total of 500 brands, restaurants and supermarkets promoted the campaign and launched more than 200 vegan products to the UK market. The 2020 campaign is set to be even bigger and Caterwings is thrilled to be involved.
