Meet The Swiss Made-to-Order Clothing Brand Focussing on Everyday Luxury

Being stylish doesn’t have to be synonymous with investing in an unsustainable industry – this philosophy is something Zurich-based designer, Nana Gotti personifies as she paves the way for made-to-order fashion with an upcoming resort wear launch.

Founded by Nagehan Dobler, Nana Gotti focuses on designing luxury pieces that add an element of fun to every wardrobe without excessively high price tags. Each collection is fit for the season and features Nagehan’s take on the hottest styles, silhouettes, and fabrics, ensuring wearers are always at the forefront of fashion and style. With celebrity customers such as Christina Milian, Marta Sierra, Julia Michaels, and Shannon Thornton, Nana Gotti has already made a splash in the fashion industry.

What sets Nana Gotti apart from other similar fashion brands is its dedication to protecting the planet. With the rise of fast fashion brands and consumer demands for convenience, the fashion industry is having a catastrophic impact on the planet. 85% of all textiles end up in landfill every year [1] and fashion production makes up 10% of humanity’s carbon emissions [2], statistics that Nana Gotti does not want to contribute to.

Nana Gotti operates a zero-waste model with every piece made to order. With lead times of 1-2 weeks, Nana Gotti can significantly reduce the amount of material, fabric, and energy waste that they create. This means that not only do customers get a piece that has been specifically tailored to their size and shape, but Nana Gotti can focus on craftsmanship and ensure each customer gets the piece of their dreams.

Nagehan Dobler, Founder of Nana Gotti, is passionate about creating a brand that makes customers feel good while doing good for the planet. “Fashion is one of the most polluting industries on the planet and, although my love for fashion is one of the most important things to me, I didn’t want to have to damage the planet in order to design my own line of clothing. I’m extremely proud of the zero-waste model we’ve been able to create with Nana Gotti, and it’s something I see as constantly evolving as we find new, creative ways to be better ambassadors for the planet.”

Along with accepting pre-orders for their upcoming resort collection that is set to launch in the middle of June, Nana Gotti creates custom designed dresses. Based on a brief exchange with customers, fascinating and unique designs are created in line with the wearer’s vision. During the spring and summer months, the brand’s bespoke civil wedding dresses are in particularly high demand.
