Midland Bearings Take on Additional Warehouse Space to Scale Operations
Midland Bearings, the parent brand behind some of the biggest names in manual handling equipment has announced that it’s taken on two new warehouses within the last two months to scale operations and keep up with increasing demand.
The manual handling equipment specialist, responsible for websites such as Pallet Trucks UK, Pallet Truck Shop, and Midland Pallet Trucks has become one of the leading suppliers of pallet trucks, lifting equipment, and other warehouse accessories, shipping their products across the UK and Western Europe to a range of businesses in the logistics industry.
With the increasing demand for warehousing space since the pandemic, the company has been tasked with meeting the similarly increasing demand for warehouse equipment and supplies. To scale its operations, Midland Bearings has now increased its current warehouse space, which now totals a whole block of 9 units covering 90,000 square feet.
Midland Bearings is known in the industry for having extremely quick delivery times, this is largely down to their centrally located warehouse in the Midlands that holds a vast quantity of stock ready to be shipped to customers. With their new warehouse space, the equipment supplier hopes that they will be able to further meet the demands of their customers and continue to grow their current operations.
Phil Chesworth, Managing Director of Midland Bearings says, “Taking on this additional warehouse space means that we will be able to stock more items, satisfy more customers and provide more support for the logistics industry which has been going through a particularly hard time. We will be storing a vast quantity of warehouse equipment in this new space that can all be ordered directly from our websites and quickly shipped out to customers.”
A range of lifting equipment and warehouse essentials can be purchased online at any of the Midland Bearings websites with a range of shipping options available.
