Peterborough Restaurant House of Feasts Prepares to Welcome Guests for First Ever Christmas Parties
The top-rated Peterborough restaurant, House of Feasts by Chef Damian Wawrzyniak is preparing to welcome in its first ever holiday season with decadent Christmas party menus perfect for celebrating the end of the year.
The restaurant, which is located in the heart of the Peterborough countryside, is already fully booked for Christmas day but will help diners get into the festive spirit with sumptuous feasts menus packed with delicious local produce and Chef Wawrzyniak’s signature fusion of Eastern European tradition with modern British cuisine.
The Christmas feasts menu is an ode to the indulgent, decadent winter fare – perfect for enjoying with friends and family as the year draws to a close. Fenland spiced parsnip soup, with honey, thyme and lemon foam is served with dark onion sourdough bread. A mouth-watering twist on a Christmas staple sees fresh cured salmon served side-by-side with lemon and dill, apple segments, crunchy capers, crème fraîche and black tuile.
Brined in sugar, salt and spices, succulent Fenland bronze turkey hand carved and served with Fenland and Cambridgeshire vegetables and meat juices, or slow cooked neck of lamb finished in the pan and served with polenta, winter kale & rich meat sauce offer diners a decadent festive feast. For those craving a non-meat alternative, creamy pearl barley risotto is cooked in spinach and mushrooms and finished with a crumble of local cheese and crunchy walnuts.
