Raft of new hires and promotions as Inc Retail expands

Greta Leoni is promoted to Head of Marketing Strategy and Angela Freeth joins as Head of Marketing Operations

Inc Retail continues to grow its team since the acquisition of Tootsa and also taking a minority  stake in milk alternative, Gut Instinct. Following a busy Q2, the group has announced internal promotions and new team members, bringing the total headcount to 10, just 6 months after launch.

Greta Leoni, who was previously Retail Marketing Manager, has been promoted to Head of Marketing Strategy. At the same time, Angela Freeth, previously of parent group Inc & Co, joins as Head of Marketing Operations.

Leoni is now responsible for the strategic marketing direction of Inc Retail’s brands, including Chop’d, KNOMO London & Laundrapp. Before joining Inc Retail in April 2021, she was Marketing Manager for London Stansted Airport and was there for nearly four years.

Freeth has joined from Inc & Co, Inc Retail’s parent company, where she held the Head of Group Marketing position. At Inc Retail, she is now responsible for day-to-day operations of marketing across the group.

Continuing to bolster the marketing department also sees Tom Rowe join as Digital Executive and Bella Dale as Social Media Executive. Bella & Tom both join from KNOMO London, where they held the same roles, handling the luxury bag makers social & digital media accounts.

Dan Shaw, Managing Director of Inc Retail, said, “We’re growing our team with a mix of external industry experience and internal home-grown talent. Greta’s new role comes when we look to plan what the next few years look like for our brands, and Angela’s experience working in our parent company means we have that hands-on, day-to-day experience that our brands need as they begin to evolve and grow.”

“I’d like to welcome all our new hires to the company, who are all now part of our mission of redefining retail. I’m looking forward to further growing our team so that we can continue to give our five brands the experience and attention they need to grow.”
