Sexy New Subscription Service CouplePlay Turns up the Heat for 2021

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to keep bars, restaurants, and entertainment venues closed, an exciting new startup is offering a new way for couples to spend quality time together at home. UK-based CouplePlay is the ultimate solution to lockdown boredom, helping couples to reinvent their sex life, turn up the heat, and discover more about each other through new, fresh, and diverse bedroom games that are both spicy and adventurous.

Founded by London entrepreneurs Marcus Miller and John Patrick, CouplePlay is a brand new subscription box service that delivers sensual and naughty goodies direct to the door. Carefully curated, and personalised for each couple’s individual bedroom preferences, boxes contain a surprise mix of sex toys, massage oils, lingerie, and games, with new items included in each delivery. Subscribers can create their own online profiles, ensuring items are a perfect match for their needs.

Marcus Miller, Co-Founder of CouplePlay said, “During the pandemic, one of the key trends we have noticed is that there is now a greater sense of boredom in practically every aspect of daily life, across almost every age group. Things that once excited us have now become mundane, which is why we’re striving to bring back a little bit of a spark, particularly in relationships which is an area that has notoriously suffered from the additional pressures the COVID-19 crisis has introduced.”

According to a 2019 NHS report, the average couple was already having less frequent sex than 10 years prior, and the 2020 outbreak has done little to resolve the problem. The BBC notes that a UK-wide survey found that almost a quarter of people believed the pandemic was placing extra pressure on their relationship, with 42% of them finding their partner to be more irritating during lockdown, and 36% arguing more. Worryingly, the number of people searching the Citizens Advice website for information about divorce was up 25% in September 2020 from the previous year. CouplePlay aims to bring couples closer together during difficult times.

CouplePlay subscribers will receive five items per box, in addition to naughty challenge cards, new sex positions to try out at home, and general tips for a better sex life. Specialist CouplePlay boxes are also available for hoteliers, allowing facilities to enhance the guest stay with romance packages and promotions.

CouplePlay currently offers two different subscription options, CouplePlay Monthly, and CouplePlay Quarterly, with boxes delivered worldwide. The first CouplePlay box will be available during Valentine’s week 2021. Subscribers can get a taste for what’s to come by checking out the CouplePlay blog, or listening to the Cherry on Top podcast by the founders.
