Skela Studio Launches Exclusive Interior Design Interactive Online Workshops

Redesigning a home or commercial space is an exciting prospect, but no easy feat. Tackling a new project without understanding the fundamentals of interior design often leads to disappointment, with a beautiful vision failing to materialise. To provide novice and experienced interior designers alike with the means to hone their skills and learn new techniques, Skela Studio has launched a new, fully interactive online interior design with a difference.

The Skela Studio approach to interior design focuses on finding harmony between the features and history of the building, and the character of the owner. Not only must the finished interior be fit for purpose, but it must also exude the owner’s personality and uniqueness.

Founder Aleksandra Jovanoska-Hannah’s experience as a designer spans a variety of spaces including apartments, shops, boutique hotels, cafes, and offices. Her versatility as a designer makes her well equipped to handle the array of challenges posed by re-designing different types of spaces.

This breadth of experience has been poured into the creation of the studio’s new online workshop. Packed with designer tips and tricks for bringing spaces to life with flair, the workshops are as suited for those who want to dive into the world of interior design for the first time as they are for those who want to brush up on their skills. Working with Aleksandra will give attendees a fresh perspective on re-designing a space, allowing them to tackle future projects with confidence and ease. Courses are available as a five-week program or one-day masterclass.

Attendees participate in live interaction with Aleksandra, allowing them to gain meaningful advice from a professional with a proven track record of interior design success. Past clients include Google, Accenture, and the City of Edinburgh Council, to name a few. Attendees can expect to learn all elements of design, from budgeting and managing the project, to sourcing lighting and antiques.

Aleksandra says, “At Skela, our approach is all about reflection: finding new solutions and approaches to designing spaces in a way that’s eclectic, chic, and simple. Creating spaces that are practical, beautiful, and will stand the test of time requires a lot of consideration and thought. With our workshops, we hope to teach the nuances of this process to aspiring interior designers, so that they can take on projects with confidence, and achieve the results they deserve”.
