Talented Young DJ and Producer Aims to Take His Unique Techno Tunes to Bigger Audience with Podcast Launch

Recognised talented DJ and producer Matt Altman is intent on carving out a successful career in techno, using his skills to launch a podcast and show off his unique take electronic dance music. As an artist who has already worked with established DJs, picked up a prestigious award, and attends a leading college for music, Matt is set to take the music world by storm despite his young age.

Having recently launched his first EP – Give Me – which charted at an incredible number eight in the top 100 techno releases during its first week out, the success has spurred Matt on to achieve more. He’s already collaborated with an impressive array of talented musicians, including underground music duo Sleepy & Boo and techno digital pioneer Chris Liebing, and attends the premier Berklee College of Music to hone his technical capabilities. Matt’s innate musical ability, determination, and work ethic meant he was recognised at the EDC NY Discovery Project in 2015, a success he’s built on since.

Not content with what he’s already achieved, Matt has now launched his monthly radio show, Depth Perception, airing monthly on DI Radio and a podcast, Suspend the Void, featuring some of his biggest influences in techno.

Matt said “Getting recognised as a DJ and producer is something I’ve been working on for years. Now with gigs, an EP, and collaborations under my belt I know that I’m ready to take the next steps and take my unique techno perspective to a bigger audience. I’m all about the high-energy tracks that get people on the dancefloor and moving. The success of Give Me has demonstrated that there’s a love for my creations and I can’t wait to launch more and spin at some of the biggest events in New York and beyond.”

Recent guests mixes that Matt has been a part of include EXILE Brooklyn and TechnoFist, as well as showcasing his skills at gigs, among them his Panther Room debut at Output for the renowned Brad Miller brand Push the Night. With the drive to succeed, Matt is now seeking opportunities to tour, create music, and hold events under the Suspend the Void brand.
