The Home Organisation and Wrap-Up London Plan to Spread Warmth This Winter with Coats for A Cause Campaign

Just in time to beat the cold Winter temperatures sweeping the country, The Home Organisation has announced its partnership with Wrap-Up London and its winter warming campaign. In hopes of spreading good cheer and some warm clothing this season, The Home Organisation is rallying its clients – both past and present across London and the Home Counties – to donate pre-loved coats to support one of the largest winter volunteering events in the capital     .

Wrap-Up London is the annual charity coat drive dedicated to helping thousands of vulnerable people stay warm during the Winter months. Since the annual drive started in 2011, over 197,000 coats have been distributed to people in need from all over the country, sorted by thousands of passionate volunteers. In 2023, with support from The Home Organisation, the charity hopes they will be able to smash previous targets and provide their services to many more people across the capital.

With a target of 200 coats, The Home Organisation is encouraging its clients from across the city and beyond to start their seasonal wardrobe switch-over as soon as possible and pass on their unused coats to a good cause. For those interested in participating in the coat drive, The Home Organisation will organise collection rounds which will then be passed on to Wrap-Up London to distribute amongst frontline charities who work tirelessly throughout the winter to support those who are most vulnerable.

“With freezing temperatures expected across the country over the next few months, we really wanted to do something to support the people we wouldn’t otherwise be able to directly help,” Explains Founder & Director of The Home Organisation, Laura Price. “In our business, we’re constantly helping people clear out their wardrobes of unwanted clothes and coats, so this partnership felt like a natural fit. We’re calling on all our clients to sort out their wardrobes and donate any coats that aren’t their style anymore or have gone unworn for years so we can give them to someone who will appreciate it much more.”

Collections will be running until 3rd December for anyone living in the Greater London area. Wrap-Up London also has 40 designated drop-off points across the city where people can bring any unwanted warm coats, apart from those made with real fur.
