Top Ranked Arizona Business School Says Online Degree Stigma Has Vanished

Following a recent interview with BusinessStudent.com, a career and education portal for business and tech students, Assistant Dean Steve Taylor at ASU’s W. P. Carey School of Business said that in the minds of potential employers, the difference between an online degree and campus degree has all but vanished.

This marks a stark contrast from previous years as many employers felt that students who had studied for their business degree online were not of the same caliber of campus graduates.

In an email interview with the Managing Editor of BusinessStudent.com, Henry R. Steele, Steve Taylor then went on to discuss the many benefits of studying an online MBA degree at the W. P. Carey School of Business.

Steve Taylor, Assistant Dean, Graduate Programs at ASU said “Many employers see the benefit of training and educating their staff while retaining them in their jobs.

“Employers who know an applicant has earned a degree online report that they have high confidence in these graduates, as they have proven their ability to balance multiple conflicting priorities during the program.”

Steve also went on to discuss the benefits of choosing to study an online MBA degree at the W. P. Carey School of Business, one of the top-ranked business schools in Arizona.

“All students, including online students, have access to the W. P. Carey Career Services Center, where students are assigned coaches, take courses on preparing for the job search, and meet employers.

“Each of the resources available in the Career Services Center is made available to our online students, and the online students use the Career Services Center quite actively.”

This level of integration between academic study and workplace readiness, as well as their excellent reputation for one of the top five ranked online MBA programs in the world, makes the W. P. Carey School of Business one of the most popular business education institutes globally.
