These views have been echoed by experts across the industry, as well as in United Kingdom Warehousing Association’s (UKWA) 2021 report which showed that the warehousing industry had grown by over 30% in the past six years alone. Further significant growth has also been forecast for upcoming years. This surge in demand comes from a staggering growth in online shopping and changing consumer habits that prioritise speedy home delivery.
