Web technology business acquires mobile app marketplace KickApps.com
A US-based web development company has acquired industry leading open-source mobile app marketplace KickApps.com.
Located in Illinois, PHP web script experts, iScripts.com has completed its acquisition of KickApps.com, enabling iScripts to offer clients own branded mobile apps using KickApps’ bespoke app design solution in addition to existing web apps.
iScripts designs custom front-end UIs, advanced admin dashboards and powerful analytics panels as part of a dedicated development team.
With the business ethos build around creating online businesses within days instead of months, the addition of KickApps to its roster will see customers of both brands have access to an expansive library of open-source web platforms and mobile apps.
Through hiring additional mobile app developers and designers to coincide with the acquisition, iScripts is now looking to add new mobile apps to its current library. It will further customize them to individual customer requirements.
Prior to the acquisition, KickApps was a SaaS platform concentrated on developing social networking software for clients looking to grow their online communities, helping a diverse client based of high-profile companies and brands to increase effectiveness of both external and internal communications.
Kickapps merged with AppReseller in 2020 in order to create a marketplace for mobiles apps with a focus on social and cloud communities. It is designed to save time and money when it comes to deploying sophisticated web applications through media management, user-generated content, premium video players and social marketing solutions.
