WORLD-LEADING FITNESS EXPO RETURNS TO THE NEC FOR NINTH INSTALMENT
World class athletes, the biggest and best international brands and a healthy dose of education and motivation – it’s set to be the biggest year!
The world’s largest indoor consumer fitness expo is set for a ninth annual instalment – BodyPower Expo is back at the NEC. For the record number of fitness enthusiasts who have already purchased tickets and the thousands more planning to pay on the door, BodyPower UK 2017 is now on the horizon. The show is billed as the biggest and best event to date.
Visitors are treated to a relentless 3-days, celebrating everything positive about fitness and power sports. With more than 450 leading international brands and hundreds of the most revered athletes on the planet – BodyPower is a staple event on the global fitness calendar.
Some of the names confirmed for 2017 are phenomenal. Bodybuilding megastars such as debutant Dallas McCarver, Jay Cutler and Kai Greene are perhaps the biggest name on the roster, and they are joined by female sensation Nikki Blackketter and the irrepressible Dana Linn Bailey, boasting over 15 million followers between them.
Physique remains a burgeoning area of the show, with stars like Britain’s Ryan Terry and Steve Cook ever-popular. Online sensations aren’t ignored – with the likes of Lex Griffin, Jaco De Bruyn and Calum von Moger all posting to millions daily.
No matter what type of visitor you are, it’s impossible to peruse the packed BodyPower aisles and not find inspiration. Those with a thirst for knowledge can see educational seminars from the likes of Phil Graham and Martin MacDonald and each session, signing, Q&A or meet and greet is an opportunity to grab a photo or a titbit of precious advice from an idol.
Founder and CEO, Nick Orton, explains the appeal: “We started BodyPower with a twofold plan. First and foremost, BodyPower is an event that we put on because we want people to be inspired to be fitter and healthier. We want to help people push their boundaries. Secondly, we wanted to show the world just how big the fitness bubble really is by setting record attendances year on year! We’re now set to top 100,000 visitors in 2017 which is testament to the growth and popularity of the industry.
There’s few places in the world that you can interact with the sheer volume of truly inspiring men and women like you see at BodyPower. These are people who make tremendous sacrifices to finely tune their bodies and push themselves to the upper limits of what is possible. Their stories are captivating and their advice and knowledge is priceless. That’s the draw of BodyPower. For a relatively small price you can spend 3-days with the biggest names and the biggest brands all together in one place.”
As well as the plethora of star names and brands coming from all over the world, BodyPower is a place where free education and learning is in abundance.
